Show 24 - Satish Kumar

Welcome to the 24th Merlin's Diary podcast.
You can access the Merlin's Diary search engine in both the UK

Our new podcast show features one of our great heroes, the legendary Satish Kumar, founder and editor of Resurgence and Ecologist magazine and generally all round top man who in the early 1960s walked from India to the USA with a friend (with a little help from the Queen Mary across the Atlantic)  in the name of peace and with NO money in his pocket. The walk took 18 months to complete, starting from Ghandi's grave and ending at Kennedy's grave. Whilst Satish was sad to have missed the opportunity of meeting with Kennedy, he was delighted to be able to meet with Martin Luther King.

Satish is the founder of the Schumacher College and The Small School and has appeared on BBC's Desert Island Discs.

All our previous interviews, which are co-hosted by good mates Barry Durdant-Hollamby, founder at Merlin's Diary, and fellow author Neil Del Strother, and which have included guests such as Marianne Williamson, Mooji, Gabrielle Roth, Gangaji, Brandon Bays, Peter Owen-Jones, Dr Robert Holden, and Lynne McTaggart are available to stream/download - just click here and search through the podcast entries.
